Razor E200 Specifications:
The E200 has had several revisions across the years but only for the better. The original belt driven models have been replaced with chain driven ones, eliminating the need to replace worn belts. The folding mechanism & height adjustable handlebars are upgraded to the sturdier T-bar design and the variable throttle that was susceptible to rust now replaced with on/off micro switches for easy maintenance free operation.
The E200 offers up to 40 minutes of continuous use from the 24v (2X12v) lead acid fully sealed battery driving the low torque quiet chain driven motor found on the latest models to a very respectable 12mph, making the E200 a great commuter scooter for early teens.
The E200 features pneumatic front and rear tyres for a comfortable ride and a full sized deck for the larger rider.
The E200 has done away with the ‘must push to 3mph before the motor engages’ throttle system and gone with the hassle free, traditional, jump on, twist and go version.
When not in use, the E200 can be stored in an upright position using the retractable kick stand. If you are looking to pack the scooter in the car please note the scooter does not fold so you need clearance for the height or to undo the 2 hex bolts to remove the handlebars.
The E200 requires some assembly but fortunately the battery, charger and tools are supplied in the box and it is just a case of slipping on the handlebars, aligning & tightening the hex bolts on the collar clamp & then charging the batteries*, and then checking the pressure of the front pneumatic tyre with the handy gauge extender located in the end of the handlebar.
*Please note that the first battery charge should be for at least 12 hours rather than the usual 8 hours & batteries should be charged once per month even if the scooter is not used
Overall we think the E200 is a nice step up from the E100 range for the smaller teenager who wants a cheap mode of transport, but many will want to jump straight to the quicker, larger, E300.
